Booking and Session Information
How much is a session? The cost for a session is $245.00 per child. Each child requires their own booking. This includes 4 high-resolution digital files of your choice from a curated gallery of approximately 20 images. Additional files and prints are available for purchase through the gallery.
How long is a session? Each session is approximately 15 minutes.
What age do you photograph? We photograph children from 6 months to 102 years! Babies must be able to sit up on their own or with minimal assistance. We also love working with older children and teenagers. For individuals over 18, please contact us if you’re interested in a session, as we may need to book outside of our mini sessions.
How many children can I book in a session? Our 'Take 10' sessions include 3 images (chosen by the photographer) shot in 10 minutes, which is popular for families with two children. If you have more than two kids, we suggest more time and shots. It’s totally up to you—however, more time may be needed for larger groups.
Will you photograph siblings together? We aim to photograph siblings together at the end of their individual sessions, but we can't guarantee group participation. Sometimes it’s magic, other times it doesn’t work out.
Do you photograph families? We can photograph the whole family in our studio style. But we do not offer lifestyle family photo shoots, as we specialize in studio photography. For family lifestyle, we can connect you with a photographer who offers them separately.
Preparing for Your Session
What should my child wear for the session? Dress your child in plain, simple clothing—avoid logos, patterns, ruffles, and fancy details. Neutral or dark colors work best for contrast, while pastels may not translate well. We recommend staying away from mid-tones (gray). Jeans and white shirts look great! How can I prepare my child for the session? Make sure your child’s face is clean and their skin moisturized beforehand. Avoid any distractions during the shoot, such as phones or tablets, unless absolutely necessary. A relaxed approach works best—let your child know this is a fun experience and avoid over-preparing.
What if my child is shy or nervous? We work with kids of all personalities! Whether your child is shy, active, or nervous, we create a supportive environment to help them feel at ease. The goal is to capture your child’s authentic self, and we’ll be there every step of the way to encourage and support them.
What should I do during the photoshoot? While we work with your child, you can stay close by or step back. The main focus is for us to build rapport with your child. If they need you, we’ll let you know. Keep phones and tablets out of sight, as these can distract from the natural experience we want to capture.
What if my child has temporary imperfections, like scratches or bruises? Our editing team will remove temporary imperfections such as bruises, scratches, or scabs. If there is swelling or something more concerning, feel free to reach out, and we can discuss whether rescheduling is necessary.
Discounts and Policies
Is there a discount for siblings? Yes, we offer a 10% discount for families booking three or more siblings. The balance invoice will be sent the week of your session with the discount applied.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy A $50 non-refundable deposit is required for each booking, or $100 if we are traveling to you. Deposits are refundable within 24 hours of booking. If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 1 week's notice. Without a week's notice, deposits are non-transferable, unless there are extenuating circumstances (illness, family emergency, etc.).
Post-Session and Gallery Information
When will I receive my gallery? Your gallery will be ready approximately 2 weeks (or less) after your session, giving our team time to pre-edit all images. Once your gallery is ready, you can download your files directly.
Can I purchase additional image files or prints? Yes, you can purchase additional images and prints of all sizes through the gallery. $15 per additional photo.
Where should I print my portraits? We recommend printing through professional labs to ensure the best quality. If you need recommendations, just let us know your city, and we can suggest some great options. You can also order prints directly through your gallery.

What’s the best thing I can do as a parent during the shoot? Take your child’s lead and trust the process. We’ll be guiding the session and working to create a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Just be sure to stay out of the way of the flash and photography equipment so we can capture the best moments!
What happens after our session? Once your session is complete, we work as quickly as possible to edit and send your gallery. Turnaround time is typically 2 weeks, but we aim to get them to you sooner. You’ll receive a link where you can easily download your images.
